Ingredients
- 1 package of root vegetable slices
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 slices of bread of choice (we used homemade Buckwheat sourdough bread)
- ¼ cup Carolina-style barbeque sauce or BBQ sauce of choice
- ¼ cup hydrated mustard seeds
- 4 slices of colby jack cheese
- A few leaves of spinach
Directions
Step 1
Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan on medium heat and warm up a package of Root Vegetable Slices.
Step 2
As the Root Vegetable Slices are heating up add a generous amount of Carolina style barbecue sauce or your favorite kind of barbecue sauce and a tablespoon of hydrated mustard seeds to the Root Vegetables Slices and mix.
Step 3
Once heated through, evenly divide the Root Vegetable Slices four ways. Add the Root Vegetable Slices to your bread.
Step 4
Add the cheese on top. If you’d like to melt your cheese over the Root Vegetable Slices you can put one half of the sandwiches in the air fryer for a few minutes.
Step 5
Then, tear a few spinach leaves and add them on top of your sandwiches.
Step 6
Top your sandwiches off with a little bit more barbecue sauce and mustard seeds if you’d like and enjoy!
